  If God Is for Us: Standing Strong in Unshakable Confidence “What then shall we say to these things?  If God is for us, who can be against us? ” —  Romans 8:31 (NKJV)  There are few verses in the Bible as bold and reassuring as this one. In just a few words, Paul reminds us of a truth so powerful that it can silence fear, calm anxiety, and strengthen even the weakest heart:  God is for you.  It’s easy to feel surrounded by opposition in this world — criticism, rejection, failure, and the constant battles of daily life. Sometimes, it seems like everything is working against us.
