In the 1920s, in Tokyo, Japan, a university professor named Hidesaburo Ueno adopted a golden Akita dog, whom he named Hachiko. From the very beginning, there was something unique about their bond. Each morning, Hachiko would accompany Professor Ueno to Shibuya Station, and then return home. In the afternoon, Hachiko would wait by the station until the professor returned from work, greeting him with joy.
