Verse Of The Day - PSALM 138:8
Reflection on Psalm 138:8
This verse is a powerful reminder that God is in control, even when we don’t understand our circumstances. Sometimes, life feels uncertain—we face setbacks, disappointments, and delays. But Psalm 138:8 reassures us that God has a plan, and He is actively working in our lives to bring it to fulfillment.
Think about Joseph in the Bible. He was betrayed by his brothers, sold into slavery, and imprisoned for years. It must have seemed like his life was off track. But God was working behind the scenes, positioning him to become second in command in Egypt and to save many lives. Just like Joseph, we must trust that God is weaving together the details of our lives for His greater purpose.
We can apply this verse by surrendering our worries to God. Instead of stressing about the future, we can pray, seek His guidance, and trust that He is leading us. If you’re facing a tough season, remember: God is not finished with you yet. His plans for you are good, and He will bring them to completion.
Prayer Of The Day
Heavenly Father, thank You for the promise that You are working out Your plans in my life. Help me to trust You even when I don’t understand my circumstances. Give me patience, faith, and courage to follow Your path. I surrender my worries to You, knowing that You are in control. In Jesus’ name, Amen
