 Morning Prayer Before Starting the Day



Gracious Heavenly Father,

Thank You for the blessing of a new day. Thank You for the gift of life, for the breath in my lungs, and for another opportunity to walk in Your purpose. As the sun rises, so does my hope in You. I come before You with a heart full of gratitude and surrender. Lord, today I invite You into every part of my life — my thoughts, my words, my work, and my relationships. Help me to start this day with a clear mind and a peaceful heart. Fill me with Your Spirit so that I can walk in wisdom, patience, and love. Let everything I do today bring honor to Your name.

Father, I ask for Your protection over my family, my friends, and myself. Surround us with Your angels and guard us from harm, temptation, and fear. Cover us under the shadow of Your wings. Let no weapon formed against us prosper, and silence every voice that rises to accuse or discourage.


When I feel weak, be my strength. When I am uncertain, be my guide. When I am overwhelmed, be my peace. Teach me to lean on You and not on my own understanding. Help me to trust that Your plans for me are good, even when I can’t see the whole path ahead.


Lord, give me eyes to see the opportunities You place before me today — to serve, to encourage, to forgive, and to love others the way You have loved me. Keep my heart humble, my spirit teachable, and my mind focused on things above.

I pray for divine appointments today — moments where Your presence will be felt not only by me but through me. Let me be a reflection of Your light and kindness in a world that so desperately needs You.

Forgive me for yesterday’s mistakes, cleanse me from anything that hinders my walk with You, and create in me a clean heart, O God. Renew a steadfast spirit within me.


Today is Yours, Lord. I give You my hopes, my dreams, my struggles, and my fears. I declare that this is the day that You have made, and I will rejoice and be glad in it.

Walk with me, stay with me, and help me to be more like Jesus in all I do.

In Jesus’ mighty name, I pray,
Amen.
