Monday Morning Prayer: Let This Week Begin with God

Heavenly Father,


As the sun rises on this Monday morning, I pause and enter Your presence with gratitude. Thank You for the gift of life, for a fresh beginning, and for the breath in my lungs. No matter what yesterday held, today is a new chance to walk in Your light and love.


Lord, I surrender this week to You. Every to-do list, every meeting, every emotion, every unknown. You see what I cannot. You go before me in ways I don’t understand. So I give You control and ask that You guide every step I take. I release the pressure to be perfect, to perform, or to please others. Instead, I choose to rest in Your grace and walk in Your truth.


Help me to remain grounded when distractions come. Help me to stay focused on what matters most — honoring You in all I do. Let my thoughts be aligned with Your Word. Let my speech reflect Your kindness. Let my heart be filled with patience and peace.


When worry tries to take over, remind me to pray.

When fear whispers lies, remind me of who I am in You.

When discouragement comes, remind me that You are my strength and shield.


Protect me and my loved ones today. Go before us and stand behind us. Be in the details of this day — the ordinary and the unexpected. May Your presence surround me like a shield.


This Monday, I choose to start with You. Lead me. Fill me. Use me.

Let this be a week filled with peace, purpose, and progress — all for Your glory.

  The Righteous Lack No Good Thing Psalm 34:10 There’s a deep, quiet confidence that comes from reading these words:  “The righteous lack no good thing.”  It’s a simple statement, but it holds a world of meaning about the character of God and the life He calls us to live. At first glance, it may seem hard to believe. Life often feels full of lack — unmet dreams, unanswered prayers, unfulfilled needs.   Reflection on Luke 16:10 "Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much, and whoever is dishonest with very little will also be dishonest with much."  — Luke 16:10 We often pray for greater blessing —more opportunities, bigger breakthroughs, and increased influence. But Jesus teaches us that  how we handle the small things in life determines whether we are ready for greater things.  Think about a gardener. If he is faithful in watering and caring for a small plant, over time, it will grow into something strong and fruitful. But if he neglects the small plant, how can he expect to manage a large garden?  The same is true in our spiritual lives. God watches how we handle the small blessings He gives us—our time, talents, finances, relationships, and responsibilities.
