 DOVER AIR FORCE BASE, DEL. — In a somber and heartbreaking moment for the nation, President Donald Trump traveled to Dover Air Force Base today to join grieving families for the dignified transfer of U.S. service members who recently lost their lives in the ongoing conflict in the Middle East.

The Ultimate Sacrifice: The solemn ceremony, held on the tarmac at Dover, marks the return of American heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice overseas. Out of respect for the families and strict military protocol, the identities of the fallen soldiers are typically withheld until all next of kin have been fully notified.
