Seek God First | Matthew 6:33 Bible Verse Meaning & Encouragement

 

“My child,

Why are you carrying so much worry in your heart when I have already promised to walk beside you through every season of your life?

I see the battles you never speak about.  

I know the thoughts that keep you awake at night.  

I hear every silent prayer, every hidden fear, and every question you carry deep within your heart. Even when nobody else understands what you are feeling, I understand completely.

You often worry about your future.  

You wonder how things will work out.  

You wonder if the doors you are praying for will ever open.  

You wonder if the pain you are experiencing will ever come to an end.

But I want you to remember this today: I am already ahead of you.

Before you even asked Me for help, I already knew what you needed. Before you cried your first tear, I already had a plan for your life. Nothing you face is beyond My power, and nothing about your story is out of My control.

Seek Me first.

Before fear fills your mind in the morning, come to Me. Before anxiety convinces you to give up, spend time in My presence. Before you search for answers from the world, listen for My voice.

The more you seek Me, the more peace you will find.

I never asked you to carry the weight of tomorrow alone. Yet so often, you exhaust yourself trying to control situations that are already in My hands. You try to predict every outcome, fix every problem, and plan every detail. But peace does not come from controlling everything. True peace comes from trusting Me completely.

I know the timing of your life.

I know when doors should open.  

I know when you need to wait.  

I know when you are ready for the next chapter.  

Even the delays you do not understand are part of a greater purpose.

Sometimes I protect you through closed doors. Sometimes I strengthen you through waiting seasons. Sometimes I prepare your heart before I release the blessing you have been praying for.

Do not mistake waiting for abandonment.

Even when you cannot see Me moving, I am still working behind the scenes. Growth often happens quietly. Just like a seed grows beneath the ground before anyone can see it, I am developing strength, wisdom, and faith within you during this season.

Do not lose hope because things are taking longer than you expected.

My plans for you are still good.

The world tells you to chase success, approval, money, and recognition. But those things can never fully satisfy your soul. Temporary things will always leave you empty if you place them above Me. That is why I ask you to seek My kingdom first.

When you place Me at the center of your life, everything else begins to align according to My will.

I will guide your steps.  

I will provide what you need.  

I will strengthen you when you feel weak.  

I will comfort you when your heart feels heavy.

You do not need to fear the future because your future is safely held in My hands.

I know the dreams hidden inside your heart.  

I know the prayers you have almost given up on.  

I know the healing you are longing for.  

I know the breakthrough you are waiting to see.

And I need you to trust that I am still writing your story.

There are moments when life feels confusing, and you wonder why certain things had to happen. But one day you will look back and realize that every delay, every heartbreak, every closed door, and every difficult season was preparing you for something greater than you could see at the time.

Nothing is wasted in My hands.

Not your pain.  

Not your waiting.  

Not your tears.

I can bring purpose out of every season you walk through.

So stop allowing fear to steal your joy. Stop believing the lie that you are forgotten or alone. You are deeply loved, fully seen, and constantly cared for by Me.

Even on the days when your faith feels weak, I remain faithful.

Even on the days when you feel tired, I will carry you.

Even on the days when you cannot see the way forward, I will continue guiding your steps one day at a time.

Rest your heart today.

You do not need every answer right now. You only need to stay close to Me and trust that I know exactly what I am doing.

Seek Me first, and I will lead you where you are meant to be. I will give you peace in the middle of uncertainty, strength in the middle of weakness, and hope in the middle of every storm.

I am faithful to finish what I started in your life.

So keep praying.  

Keep trusting.  

Keep believing.

Better days are coming, and I am already preparing the way for you.
