A Love Letter From God πŸ’Œ DAY 26

LOVE LETTER FROM GOD

A Love Letter from God: You Are Enough

You have measured yourself against everything and everyone — and come up short every time. But God's measure of you looks nothing like yours.

The voice that tells you that you are not enough is one of the oldest lies ever spoken. It started in a garden, when the enemy convinced two people that who they were — in the presence of God Himself — was somehow not quite right. Not quite sufficient. Not quite worthy.

That same voice still whispers today. You're too much. You're not enough. You've fallen too far. You've failed too many times.

But God's Word tells a very different story.

"For we are God's handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do."

EPHESIANS 2:10 (NIV)

You are not an accident. You are not a rough draft. You are His handiwork — a word that in the original Greek means masterpiece. And masterpieces are not mistakes.

My Precious One,

I know what you have been telling yourself. I have heard the way you speak about the person I created — the comparisons, the self-criticism, the quiet belief that you somehow don't measure up. And I need you to know: that voice is not Mine.

I do not look at you and see your failures first. I look at you and see My child — the one I formed with intention, the one I called good, the one I sent My Son for. You were worth that to Me. You still are.

You are not too broken for My grace. You are not too behind for My plan. You are not too flawed for My love. My grace is made perfect in weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9) — which means your imperfections are not disqualifiers. They are the very places where My strength is most beautifully displayed.

Stop trying to earn what I have already freely given. You don't have to perform for My approval — you already have it. You don't have to prove your worth — I established it before you drew your first breath. You are loved not because of what you do, but because of who you are: Mine.

Rest in that today. You are enough — because I am enough, and I live in you.

With a love that sees all of you and chooses you still,
Your Heavenly Father

The Truth the Enemy Doesn't Want You to Know

The "not enough" lie is so effective because it has a grain of truth wrapped inside it. On our own, in our own strength and righteousness, we do fall short. Romans 3:23 is clear about that. But that is precisely why the gospel is such breathtaking news — because what we could not be on our own, Christ became for us.

In Him, you are fully accepted. Fully known. Fully loved. Not because you earned it — but because He gave it.

"Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus."

ROMANS 8:1 (NIV)

No condemnation. That means the verdict has already been declared, and it is not guilty. You are free — free from the need to perform, to prove, to be perfect. You are covered by grace, held by love, and called by name.

✦ A Prayer When You Feel Not Enough

Father, I confess that I have believed the lie that I am not enough. I have measured myself by the wrong standard and come up short. Today I choose to receive what Your Word says about me — that I am Your handiwork, Your beloved, Your child. Silence the voice of the enemy and let Your voice be the loudest one I hear. Help me to rest in Your love rather than strive for Your approval. I am enough because You are enough, and You live in me. In Jesus' name, Amen.

You are seen. You are valued. You are deeply, completely loved — not for what you produce, but for who you are. Walk in that truth today.
