LOVE LETTERS FROM GOD — DAY 32

When You Feel Like You're Falling Behind

"Then the Lord answered me and said: Write the vision; make it plain... for still the vision awaits its appointed time." — Habakkuk 2:2-3

My child,

I see you counting the years. I see you watching everyone else's timeline and wondering why yours looks so different. The job they got. The family they built. The dream they're already living while you're still waiting on Mine to even take shape.

You are not behind. You are not late. There is no clock in heaven ticking against you, no scoreboard where I'm comparing your chapter three to someone else's chapter ten. I am not writing everyone's story on the same page. I never have been.

The vision I have for you is real, even though you cannot see it finished yet. It is not stalled. It is not forgotten. It is waiting for its appointed time, and I promise you — it will not delay.

So stop measuring your life against a road that was never yours to walk. Let Me measure it instead. I am not late with you. I have never once been late with you.

Rest in this season. Let your strength renew here, in the waiting, not just at the finish line. I am doing more in this quiet than you can see — and when it's time, you will not need to force a single thing. It will simply be.

I am not finished with you. I am only just beginning.

A Prayer for Today

Lord, forgive me for measuring my life by someone else's timeline. Help me trust that You are not late with me and that my waiting is not wasted. Renew my strength today, and give me peace in this season of not-yet. I trust Your timing over my own. In Jesus' name, Amen.

  The Righteous Lack No Good Thing Psalm 34:10 There’s a deep, quiet confidence that comes from reading these words:  “The righteous lack no good thing.”  It’s a simple statement, but it holds a world of meaning about the character of God and the life He calls us to live. At first glance, it may seem hard to believe. Life often feels full of lack — unmet dreams, unanswered prayers, unfulfilled needs. We all walk through seasons where what we desire most feels just out of reach. But Psalm 34:10 gently reminds us that when we walk closely with God, He ensures we lack  no good thing.
