A Love Letter from God: What He Says When You’re Anxious
DAY 47 · LOVE LETTERS FROM GOD
A Love Letter from God: What He Says When You're Anxious
My child,
I felt your mind racing before you even opened your eyes this morning. The list of what-ifs. The worry about the conversation you have to have, the bill you don't know how you'll pay, the outcome you can't control no matter how many times you replay it. You've been carrying tomorrow's weight on today's shoulders, and I want to gently take it out of your hands.I never asked you to carry tomorrow. I only ever asked you to trust Me with it. Anxiety tries to convince you that if you just think about it enough, worry about it enough, you'll be ready for whatever happens. But that's not how peace works, and it's not how I work. Peace doesn't come from having every answer. It comes from knowing the One who does.
I know your anxious thoughts feel too big and too fast to hand over. But bring them to Me anyway — not the polished, composed version, the real ones. The 3am ones. The ones that don't make sense even to you. I am not overwhelmed by what overwhelms you. I am not anxious about your future, because I already know it, and I am already there.Do not let your heart be troubled today. Not because the situation has changed yet, but because I am with you in the middle of it, and I have never once let go of you. Breathe. Let your shoulders drop. Let Me carry what you were never meant to carry alone. My peace is not the absence of a hard day. It's My presence inside of it. And I am right here with you, in this one. With everlasting love,
Your Father
A Prayer for You
Father, my mind has been racing and my heart feels heavy with worry. I bring You every anxious thought right now, even the ones that don't make sense. Thank You that I don't have to carry tomorrow today. Fill me with Your peace that doesn't depend on my circumstances. In Jesus' name, Amen.
