A Love Letter from God: What He’s Really Saying About Your Fear of the Future
A Love Letter from God:
What He's Really Saying
About Your Fear of the Future
Day 38 of Love Letters from God
My child,
I see you lying awake, running through every version of tomorrow that could go wrong. I see the way your mind keeps building bridges to places you haven't even reached yet — and then panicking over how you'll cross them. You keep asking Me, "But what if...?" And I keep answering the same way: I am already there.I am not waiting for you in the future, watching the clock, hoping you make it through. I am already standing in every tomorrow you're afraid of, and I brought enough grace, enough strength, enough provision for that day. Not today's portion stretched thin — a fresh supply, made exactly for what you'll need when you get there. This is why I never told you to carry tomorrow's weight today. You were never meant to. Fear wants you to live in a future that hasn't happened, carrying burdens I haven't even asked you to lift yet. That's not faith — that's exhaustion dressed up as responsibility.Beloved, I know the future feels like a dark hallway and you can't see past the next few feet. But you don't need to see the whole hallway. You just need to trust the One who already knows every room in it.I have plans for you. Plans to prosper you, not to harm you. Plans to give you a future and a hope. Not a future to survive — a future I'm walking you into, step by step, with My hand on your back the whole way.So tonight, let the "what ifs" go quiet. Let Me carry what hasn't happened yet. You just stay close to Me today — that's all today was ever asking of you.I am already there, waiting for you. With a love that goes before you,
Your Father
A Prayer for When You're Afraid of Tomorrow
Father, I confess I've been living in a future You haven't even brought me to yet. I've been carrying weight You never asked me to hold. Take my fear of tomorrow and replace it with trust in Who You are. Remind me that You are already standing in every day I haven't lived, holding exactly what I'll need when I get there. Help me stay present with You today, and leave tomorrow in Your hands. In Jesus' name, Amen.
