Day 43: A Love Letter from God About New Beginnings
A Love Letter from God: What He's Really Saying About Starting Over
Love Letters from God — Day 43
My child,
I know you're standing at the edge of something new, wondering if it's too late to begin again. Maybe you're starting over after a loss. After a mistake. After a version of your life that didn't turn out the way you planned. I want you to hear this clearly: starting over is not failure. It's grace, moving.
You keep looking backward, tallying up the years you think you wasted, the chances you think you missed. But I don't measure your life that way. I'm not counting what's behind you. I'm already building what's ahead of you.
I told My people through Isaiah, "Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?" That word wasn't just for them. It's for you, right now, in this exact season you're afraid to start.
New beginnings have always been My specialty. I turned a shepherd boy into a king. I turned a fisherman into someone who would help build My church. I turned an empty tomb into the beginning of everything. If I can do that, I can absolutely do something new in you.
You don't need to have it all figured out today. You just need to take the next step, and trust that I'm not done writing your story. Every ending you've walked through was never the last page — it was Me turning to a new chapter.
So begin again, beloved. Not because you have something to prove, but because I have something beautiful still planned for you.
With grace for every new beginning,
God
A Prayer for New Beginnings
Father, thank You for reminding me that starting over is not failure — it's a fresh work of Your grace. Give me courage to let go of what's behind me and take the next step You're calling me toward. Where I feel like it's too late, remind me that You are still writing my story. Help me trust Your timing, even when the path ahead looks unclear. In Jesus' name, Amen.
