Day 52: A Love Letter from God About Your New Beginning
Day 52: A Love Letter from
God About Your New
Beginning
My child,
You've been standing at the edge of something new for a while now, haven't you. Part of you is ready. Part of you is still looking back at what you're leaving behind, wondering if it's safe to actually move forward.I want you to hear this clearly: your past does not disqualify your future. The mistakes, the seasons you wasted, the version of you that made choices you regret — none of that is the final word on your life. I am not in the business of leaving people where they fell. I am in the business of new things.
I know starting over feels vulnerable. It's easier to stay in the familiar, even when the familiar is no longer good for you, because at least you know what to expect there. But I'm not calling you to comfortable. I'm calling you to alive. And sometimes those aren't the same thing.
Look at what I'm already doing. Can you not see it? I'm making a way where you thought there was no way — through the wilderness of what didn't work out, through the dry places that felt like they'd never bloom again. This isn't the end of your story. It's the start of a new chapter I've been writing all along, even in the waiting.
So take the step. Let go of what I've already released you from. I am doing something new in you, and it's already springing up — you just have to be willing to see it.
God
A Prayer for New Beginnings
Father, thank You that my past doesn't get the final say. Give me courage to let go of what's behind me and step into what You're doing now. Help me trust that this new season, even with its uncertainty, is part of a good story You're writing. In Jesus' name, Amen.
