Day 53: A Love Letter from God About Trusting What You Can’t See

Day 53: A Love Letter from God About Your Trust

PROVERBS 3:5-6

My child,

You've been trying to hold every piece of this together on your own, haven't you. Mapping out every possible outcome, bracing for what could go wrong, gripping so tightly to control because letting go feels like free-falling. I see how tired that's made you.

Trust has never meant you stop caring or stop trying. It means you stop carrying the weight of outcomes that were never yours to carry in the first place. You can plan your steps, but you don't have to guarantee every result. That part was always Mine.

I know it's hard to lean on what you can't see. Your own understanding feels safer because at least it's something you can hold onto. But your understanding is limited, and Mine isn't. I see the whole path, not just the next few steps you're staring at right now. When you trust Me instead of your own analysis of the situation, you're not being reckless — you're finally putting the weight where it belongs.

So loosen your grip today. Bring Me the plans you keep trying to control. Bring Me the fear that if you're not the one holding it all together, everything will fall apart. It won't. I'm not asking you to understand everything — I'm asking you to trust the One who does.

I love you,
God

A Prayer for Trust

Father, I've been trying to control what was never mine to control. Teach me to trust You with my whole heart instead of leaning only on what I can figure out. Where I've been gripping tightly out of fear, help me open my hands. In Jesus' name, Amen.

If this letter met you right where you are, tell me below: what's one thing you're ready to loosen your grip on?
