15 Faith Declarations to Speak Over Your August

Declarations Over Your August

PROVERBS 18:21

There's power in your words. What you speak over your life shapes how you walk through it — not because words are magic, but because faith spoken out loud has a way of settling into your spirit differently than faith just thought quietly.

As you step into this new month, take a moment to speak these declarations over yourself — out loud if you can. Not because everything about your life is already perfect, but because you're choosing to align your heart with truth before the month even gets started.

15 Declarations Over Your August

  1. I release July and every disappointment that came with it. I am not defined by what didn't go as planned.
  2. This month, I choose faith over fear.
  3. I am not behind. God's timing for my life has never once been late.
  4. I will not compare my August to anyone else's highlight reel.
  5. I declare peace over my mind, my home, and my relationships this month.
  6. What I've been believing God for is still coming — I will not give up in the waiting.
  7. I am strong enough for whatever this month brings, because His strength is made perfect in my weakness.
  8. I choose gratitude, even in the ordinary days.
  9. I will rest without guilt. Productivity is not my worth.
  10. This month, I walk in confidence, not because I have it all figured out, but because I know who holds it.
  11. I declare breakthrough over the areas that have felt stuck.
  12. I am exactly where I need to be to receive what God has for me next.
  13. My past does not disqualify my future — not in August, not ever.
  14. I choose joy on purpose, not because everything is perfect, but because He is good.
  15. This is my month to grow closer to God — one small, faithful step at a time.

Action to Practice This Month

Pick one declaration that stood out to you most. Write it somewhere you'll see it daily — your mirror, your phone lock screen, a sticky note on your desk.

Each morning this week, say it out loud before you check your phone or start your day. Let it be the first true thing you tell yourself, before the noise of the day gets the chance to speak first.

You don't have to feel every one of these fully today for them to be true. Speaking them is an act of faith — a way of saying, "I believe this is possible, even before I see it." Let this month be one where you practice believing before you see.

Walking into August with you,
Dear You Family
