Day 60: A Love Letter from God About Your Loneliness
My child,
You've been quiet about this one. It's easier to say you're tired, or busy, or fine — harder to admit that some nights the silence in your home feels louder than it should, or that you scroll through people you love and still feel unseen by all of them.
I know loneliness doesn't always mean being alone. You can be surrounded by people and still feel like no one really knows you — the version underneath the one you show everyone else. That kind of lonely is its own particular ache, and I see it, even when you haven't said it out loud to anyone.
I want you to hear this: I have never once left you by yourself. Not in the empty apartment, not in the crowd where you still felt invisible, not in the relationship where you were physically present but emotionally alone. I am nearer to you than your next breath, even in the moments it doesn't feel that way.
I know it's tempting to believe that if people really knew you — the real you, not the curated version — they'd pull away too. That fear has probably kept you from letting people close in the first place. But I already know every part of you, the parts you hide and the parts you're proud of, and I haven't gone anywhere. My love for you was never based on the version of you that's easiest to be around.
I also don't want you to settle for isolation as your permanent condition. I made you for connection — with Me first, but also with others. If you've pulled away, if you've stopped letting people in because it's safer than being hurt again, I understand why. But I'm gently inviting you back toward connection, not because you need to fill a void, but because you were never meant to walk through this life completely alone.
Start with Me tonight. Tell Me what you haven't told anyone. I'm not too busy for you, and I'm not going anywhere.

A Prayer for Loneliness
Father, some days the quiet feels heavier than I know how to explain. Remind me that You are near, even when I feel unseen. Give me courage to let people in again, and comfort me in the moments I still feel alone. Thank You for never once leaving me by myself. In Jesus' name, Amen.
