Day 62: A Love Letter from God About What Scares You

Day 62: A Love Letter from God About Your Fear

2 TIMOTHY 1:7

My child,

I see it — the fear that shows up before you even fully know what you're afraid of. The what-ifs that hijack your peace. The tightness in your chest when you think about what could go wrong. You've been carrying it quietly, trying to function normally while it hums underneath everything you do.

I didn't give you a spirit of fear. That was never Mine to hand you. What I gave you was power, love, and a sound mind — and fear tries to convince you otherwise, tries to make you believe you're powerless, unloved, or losing your grip on reality. None of that is true, no matter how loud fear gets.

I know some of your fear comes from real places — things that happened, people who hurt you, seasons where the worst actually did come true. I'm not asking you to pretend danger was never real. I'm asking you to bring that fear to Me instead of letting it drive your decisions and steal your peace in situations where you're actually safe.

Courage was never the absence of fear. It's moving forward with Me even while the fear is present. You don't have to wait to feel brave before you take the next step. You just have to take it with Me beside you.

Whatever you're afraid of right now — say it to Me. I'm not overwhelmed by it, even if you are. I am bigger than what scares you, and I am not going anywhere while you walk through it.

I love you,
God

A Prayer for Fear

Father, thank You that You did not give me a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind. Help me bring my fears to You instead of letting them drive my decisions. Give me courage to take the next step, even while fear is still present. Remind me that You are bigger than what scares me. In Jesus' name, Amen.

If this letter met you right where you are, tell me below: what's one fear you're ready to hand over to God today?
