Day 80: A Love Letter from God About His Provision
Day 80: A Love Letter from God
About His Provision
My child,
You've been running the numbers again, haven't you? Counting what's in the account, calculating what's left before the next paycheck, wondering how you're going to stretch what you have to cover what you need. That quiet worry about whether there will be enough has been sitting with you longer than you've said out loud.
I see every bill, every gap, every moment you've lain awake doing math in your head. I am not distant from your practical, everyday needs. I am the God who fed a multitude with a few loaves and fish, who sent manna daily in the wilderness, who has never once forgotten to care for what I created. Your need is not too small or too specific for Me to notice.
I will meet all your needs according to My riches in glory. Not according to your bank balance, not according to what seems logical or possible from where you're standing, but according to My riches — resources that don't run dry, that were never limited by your circumstances in the first place. My provision doesn't always look like what you expect, and it doesn't always come on your exact timeline, but it comes.
God says, "I will meet all your needs according to My riches in glory. Not according to what you have, but according to what I have — and I have more than enough."
I'm not asking you to stop being wise or to stop planning. I'm asking you to stop carrying the weight of provision as if it depends entirely on you. You are not alone in figuring this out. Bring Me your specific need today — the real number, the real worry — and trust that I see it, and I am already working on your behalf.
God
A Prayer for Provision
Father, I've been carrying the weight of provision like it depends only on me. Remind me that You see every need I have and that Your resources never run dry. Meet me according to Your riches, not my circumstances. Help me trust You with what I'm worried about today. In Jesus' name, Amen.
