Day 87: A Love Letter from God About Feeling Stuck
Day 87: A Love Letter from God About Feeling Stuck
My child,
You've been looking at your life and wondering why nothing seems to be moving. The same routines, the same unresolved questions, the same circumstances you thought you'd have grown past by now. It feels like everyone around you is progressing — new jobs, new milestones, new chapters — while you're standing in the same place you were months ago.
I want you to hear this: stillness is not the same as stuck. What looks like nothing happening on the surface is often where the deepest work is happening underground, out of sight, where you can't yet see the roots I'm growing in you. A seed doesn't look like it's doing anything while it's buried, but that's exactly when the most important work is taking place.
This vision awaits an appointed time. Though it linger, wait for it, it will certainly come and will not delay. I know this season feels like it's lingering far longer than you expected. But lingering is not the same as forgotten, and waiting is not the same as wasted. I have not lost track of what I'm doing in you, even when it doesn't look like progress from where you're standing.
God says, "The vision awaits its appointed time. Though it lingers, wait for it — it will certainly come and will not delay. You are not stuck. You are being prepared."
You are not behind. You are not forgotten. You are not stuck in a story I've abandoned. I am working in this exact season, preparing what's next in ways you can't see yet. Trust the process, even the invisible parts. What feels like standing still is actually Me building the foundation for what's coming.
God
A Prayer for When You Feel Stuck
Father, I feel like nothing is moving forward, and I don't understand what You're doing in this season. Help me trust that stillness isn't the same as stuck. Remind me that You are working, even in ways I can't see. Give me patience for the appointed time. In Jesus' name, Amen.
