Day 99: A Love Letter from 

God About Finishing Strong


GALATIANS 6:9

My child,

You're so close to something right now, whether it's this season, this goal, this hard thing you've been carrying, or simply this string of days we've walked together. And I know what happens right before a finish line — the temptation to coast, to ease off, to assume the hardest part is already behind you so it's safe to let go a little early.

I don't want you to let up now. Not because I doubt your endurance, but because I know how close you actually are, even when it doesn't feel like it. The last stretch is often the hardest, not because the work itself is harder, but because your strength is thinner here, and it takes everything in you to keep going when you're tired and the end is finally, actually in sight.

Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. You have not carried this faithfulness for nothing. Every day you've shown up, every step you've taken even when it was hard, every time you brought Me your real self instead of quitting — all of it has been building toward something. Don't set it down now, this close to the finish.

GALATIANS 6:9

God says, "Do not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time you will reap a harvest if you do not give up. You are so close. Don't let up now."

I am with you for this final stretch, the same way I've been with you through everything that came before it. You don't have to finish in your own strength — I will carry what you can't. Just keep going. The harvest is closer than you think, and I am not going to let you finish this alone.

A Prayer for Finishing Strong

Father, I'm tempted to ease off now that I'm close to the finish. Give me strength for this final stretch. Remind me that the harvest is near if I don't give up. Carry what I can't carry on my own, and help me finish this well. In Jesus' name, Amen.

  If God Is for Us: Standing Strong in Unshakable Confidence “What then shall we say to these things?  If God is for us, who can be against us? ” —  Romans 8:31 (NKJV)  There are few verses in the Bible as bold and reassuring as this one.   But He said to me,  ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.” —  2 Corinthians 12:9 (NIV)  This verse is one of the most comforting promises in all of Scripture. It reminds us that even when we reach the end of our own strength, we are never beyond the reach of God’s grace. The Apostle Paul wrote these words after pleading with God to remove what he called a “thorn in the flesh” — a constant struggle, pain, or limitation that troubled him deeply.
